I saw on OS News that Greg KH posted a comment pointing out that the 2.6 Linux kernel does not suffer from a vulnerability that could allow exploits via the Hyperthreading found in P4 and similar chips. Good news for the penguins!

OnLamp has an excellent interview with OpenBSD developers, including Damien Bergamini and Marco Peereboom. They discuss the features of the new 3.7 Release as well as the integration (or lack thereof) of ProPolice into GCC.

Opie for the SL-C3000 is still very young, and buggy, and annoying. OpenBSD for the SL-C3000 is also very young. pdaXrom doesn’t even have a version for the SL-C3000 yet. So I decided “screw this” I’m going to use the english translation of the original Sharp ROM. How did I do it? With the help of this fine document at www.xlfag.com (All I needed to change was /mnt/cf to /mnt/card because I used an SD card instead of CF). I would hug the guy that wrote that… but instead I’ll just praise him here
