Bassdrive v2

Have you noticed that Bassdrive has a new site? Bigup! Love the links on the playlist, great idea. For those that don’t know, bassdrive is the leading internet radio station for d&b/jungle. It’s like that, and that’s the way it is.

Colored Bubbles!

Just read the article! OK fine here’s a bit “The 11-Year Quest to Create Disappearing Colored Bubbles
Chemical burns, ruined clothes, 11 years, half a million dollars—it’s not easy to improve the world’s most popular toy. Yet the success of one inventor’s quest to dye a simple soap bubble may change the way the world uses color”.

Mrxvt version 0.4.2 is released!

“This is a bug fix release with lots of fixes. Sorry I did not have much time to devote to the development of mrxvt in the past months. So the new features, like UTF-8, are still not available. If you are willing to help on the development, please do not hesitate to let me know!”
GO GET IT =) It’s good to see my favorite terminal emulator isn’t dead!

Finally Can Print!

Took me a while but I finally sat down and configured cups on my zaurus to print to the cupsd running on the FreeBSD 6.0 box that is my beloved desktop Mnemosyne. While I was as it I logged into the cups admin interface on my powerbook (did you know you could do that?) and set it up to print to the cupsd as well. The trick is to use the raw queue (on Tiger you need to use the cups web interface to do that, the system prefs won’t let you).I actually am wasting space on my zaurus by installing hpijs but hey - maybe one day I’ll plug in a usb printer in an emergency ;)

Camino 1.0 Beta 1!

Go get it already!

For those that don’t know, “Camino 1.0 Beta 1 brings you a heavily updated version of the only native Mac OS X browser using Mozilla.org’s Gecko HTML rendering engine. We made great improvements, adding new features, improving existing features, and fixing many bugs and performance issues.”

And it’s sexy! (But it’s still not Acid2 Compliant Doh.)
