Nvu 1.0!

Whoa Nvu 1.0 was finally released!. If you don’t know by now, Nvu is a GUI web design app similar to Dreamweaver and FrontPage. I’ve been using Mambo for this site (obviously) but I might look into Nvu for designing other sites. Then again vim works quite wel l and is already installed…

Postfix Book Review

This could go in my book section, but it’s really meant to help admins so I’ll call it computer stuff. Happened to find a book review ( I think it was on slashdot… I forget but I have the link bookmarked haha ) for The Book of Postfix. Danny seems to like it. I’ve been lucky enough to get by with online docs, but I might check this book out. Always nice to have a hard copy…

Whoa! Check this emulator out! It’s a unix terminal written in JavaScript. I’m amazed! I’m perplexed! I’m wondering how useful it is, but at the same time… wow… it’s kinda fun. Even vi works!

Qwerty vs Dvorak

I found a bunch of stuff about Qwerty and Dvorak keyboards in some slashdot comments. There’s daskeyboard (the keyboard of the elite! You can also check out this article about different keyboard layouts. Kinesis has the keyboard of my dreams (the split/chair mounted one). Then of course theres the Wiki entry for Qwerty. (Oh and don’t forget this cool looking keyboard!)

Aphrodite!

Wow… Aphrodite tore isht up last night at Direct Drive He played some new funk, some old school… a little bit of everything. I go to Direct Drive every week, but I must say that last night was one of my favorites. I really should have started doing party reviews earlier…

…in other news Apple annonced they are switching to Intel chips and Debian Sarge was officially released No news on Duke Nukem Forever yet.
